Hello again-- huh!

It's been a few days since I opened my little dreamwidth blog. Just realizing now that I'll probably have to set up a photobucket or something again to post images on entries? That's okay. :)
This is nice because its definitely like days of yore on livejournal, but I have forgotten how to do it. I'm sure I'll get the swing of it -- I use to love making the layout look all nice (although I think I'm going to try to spend more time actually using the blog instead!)
Okay! Soon I will actually post something past my random thoughts. u_u

Date: 2024-10-07 07:04 am (UTC)Dreamwidth does have image hosting, but it's just a photostream, with no organization. So most people do prefer to host their images elsewhere and just insert them here.

Well, we try to aim for that.

This post has a lot of how-to links.
You can post pretty much anything you want here -- text, images, long-form, short-form, whatever floats your boat. Recurring posts has some ideas for topics.

On Dreamwidth, much of that is done with CSS. If you don't want to dig into the code that far, there are many premade styles available, which you can customize.

Go for it! The Dreamwidth platform is flexible.
